So, the summer is coming to an end.

The most bizzare summer ever.

No concerts, no travels, no F1, no nothing.

Just heat, sea, marble jungles and Swedish language.

Yeah, I decided I won't watch F1 for a while, because all this BLM shit and fucking Lewis Hamilton was too much, this all was really getting on my nerves. There were some bad tendencies in F1 during last few years, but this year I thought it was enough for me, so I'm done watching this shit.

I don't read as much news now as I did before either, for the same reason. It is obvious the terror will continue, and there is nothing but terror and intimidation in the news. So fuck it. I've got better things to do than destroying my psychological health. So just a small amount of news, and no news about COVID at all. This needs to be stopped.

So, there is not much to tell about, again. Schools start on September the 7th, and all students and teachers will be obliged to wear masks, and the same applies to universities and all other educational institutions.

A few days ago the soldiers guarding Evzones started wearing masks, too. Lime scooters appeared again, but in much smaller numbers. Hop-on hop-off buses are operating, but there are not many tourists using them, usually about ten tourists per bus or less. Many hotels remain closed, and situation in tavernas/restaurants haven't changed much. I wonder how many of them will go out of business by the end of the year.

According to official statistics, during the first seven months of this year Greece received as many foreign tourists as during July 2019 alone. Well, this number certainly tells a lot and doesn't need any comments.

So, as the summer is coming to an end and people go back to work and schools, it is safe to say that Greece fucked up this tourist season big time. There are September and October still left, but let's just not lie to ourselves.

Meanwhile, I discovered that bus A2, which starts it's route from Academia, goes right to Kalamaki beach, and the whole journey takes about half an hour, so needless to say I've been using this bus a lot during past few weeks. After they fucked up the trams, this is the most convenient way to travel to the sea for me.

And the sea, the sea is great, sun rises above Kalamaki at around 7:30 in the morning and sets about 8:00 in the evening, and the temperatures reach 35C during the day, and this will continue at least till September, although I'm sure in the beginning of September the weather won't differ much from what we have now.

The only good news is that we didn't have another lockdown, and I hope we won't. But yeah, whatever.

And yeah, Motorama is going to release a new album soon.
