So, I encountered pickpockets for the first time here in Athens today.

There were two of them, a man and a woman, and of course they were fucking gypsies.

All happened in a crowded bus. A quite tall man, dressed in a white jacket and with sunglasses, standing next to me, asked me something, and, as I think now, judging by my answer he assumed I'm a tourist.

Then he immediately swapped places with a short fat darky woman, who had been standing behind him and who almost immediately tried to shove her hand in my pocket while staring me in the eye (trying to hypnotize me? lol).

Well, she didn't succeed, as I'm not a naive idiot (well, at least I'd like to think so).

Besides, there was not much to take anyway.

And as I caught her even before she could put her hand in my pocket completely, there was not much I could do.

I mean, of course I yelled at them and made attempts to explain other people what was going on, but what else could I do?

They disembarked at the next stop as if nothing happened.

And other passengers - well, they also acted as if nothing happened and it seemed they didn't give a fuck.

And now I think, what a truly disgusting people live in this country.

Yes, these two people were pickpockets and gypsies, but what about the others?

They just don't give a fuck, that's it.

They don't give a fuck when other people vandalize buildings, statues and other structures.

They don't give a fuck when everything is covered with graffiti.

They don't give a fuck about drug addicts sitting everywhere you look in the heart of the city.

They don't give a fuck when illegal immigrants are illegally selling different shit.

They don't giva a fuck when a pair of gypsies is trying to rob someone right under their nose.

Lol, what a disgusting nation.

They clearly deserve everything what is happening to them.

By the way, today begins the local Carnival (Αποκριές), but my mood is certainly not festive after this case.

And the more I think about it, why didn't these thieves succeed? -

Just because I'm an aggressive asocial mysanthropic pessimist, that's why.

I'm not light-hearted, I always feel and understand the risks I'm taking (or at least I'd like to think so).

I don't keep my wallet in my back pocket. Well, in fact, I never owned a wallet, to begin with, lol.

I don't trust wallets.

I don't trust people.

It's good to be a mysanthrope, that's the moral of the story that happened to me today, I guess.

I hate and despise all people indiscriminately.

And good luck to those gypsies by the way, hope they will pickpocket someone from this indifferent crowd that surrounded me.
