R.I.P. Konstantin "Kuzya UO" Ryabinov
Mar. 28th, 2020 05:19 amHoly shit, it turns out Konstantin Ryabinov, one of the founders of Grazhdanskay Oborona alongside with Egor Letov, died on the 16th of March, two days after Genesis P-Orridge.
He was just 55 years old though, while Genesis P-Orridge was 70.
He died of a stroke, so I guess it means he basically drank himself to death.
I've attended his solo concert for the first time in 2005, and the last time I saw him perform was in 2009, when Egor Letov had already been dead for a year, as well as Grazhdanskay Oborona, with which he performed in 2004 during their jubilee concerts.
Jeez.
So, I've been to nine of his solo concerts, including one with Sergei Letov. And I still have a digital photo of me with him taken back in 2006. Time flies etc.
R.I.P.
