So, the usual Sunday parade of evzones finally resumed today.

Hordes of tourists suddenly appeared seemingly out of nowhere and dissolved back into nowhere right after the parade ended.

Grande Bretagne is open.

Well, in both senses. The most luxurious hotel in the city is open and the country itself is also open already a week or so, I mean, its citizens are allowed to visit Greece now.

Lime's scooters have dissapeared from the streets once again, or maybe I don't notice them for some reason. Although most probably they really dissapeared. I hope Lime goes bancrupt.

The number of people arriving in Greece by plane fell 80% compared to the previous July, and hotel owners believe their revenue this year will fall 60-70% compared to 2019.

However, the insane battle against "COVID-19" continues, and since yesterday people are obliged to wear masks in supermarkets.

Everybody talks about "the second wave" and the possible return of lockdown. But at this point I just don't care, the worse the better.

And why talk about the second wave? What about the third wave? Or the fourth? Or the sixth? Let's just burn our economy to the ground. Why not, the process have already begun. That which is falling should also be pushed.

Other than that, nothing interesting is happening. The traditional Greek summer is going on, with temperatures up to 35C during the day and down to 25C during the night, with strong winds and with total lack of rains or even clouds.

The only thing that differs it from previous summers is total absence of tourists.

New album of Jonathan Bree is out, but I haven't listened to it yet.
