"Μεγάλος Περίπατος"
Jun. 16th, 2020 01:59 pmSo, three major things happened in Greece and Athens yesterday: museums and hotels were opened, as well as "Μεγάλος Περίπατος".
Well, "Μεγάλος Περίπατος" is in fact the worst thing that happened here since I arrived.
I don't even want to comment on this shit. The traffic situation has always been a hell here, and now it will be even worse.
As for hotels, I haven't seen any activity at those I pass by often. In fact, some of them haven't even bothered lifting their roll up doors and remain completely shut.
No signs of foreign tourists whatsoever, and no signs of passengers on airport express buses, although we are an "open" country since yesterday.
Also, it seems like mulberry season is coming to an end. There are still some mulberries left, but most of them are too high in the trees to pick them up.
Sweet cherries cost now 75 cents in tourist places, while at the beginning of June they costed about 2 Euros.
And this is all I have for today.
