So I found this video I watched for the first time ten or maybe even twelve or maybe even more years ago.

Now, when I see Acropolis almost every day and know the surrounding area like the back of my hand, this video gives a completely different feeling compared to the feeling it gave back then...

I guess it was filmed sometime around the end of the 60s or the beginning of the 70s, during the Junta.

Seems like great time.

People were allowed to wander all around the area, they could even go directly to the Parthenon.

And now you are only allowed to walk through specially designed paths, surrounded by the ropes, and if you make one step off them, the disgusting museum workers will whistle at you.
