So, the elections were won by ND, as expected.

And as they won more than half of the seats in the Parliament, there won't be any govermental crisises and early elections, and the next elections will for sure take place no earlier than 2023.

So it is possible to forget about politics for a while.

No more political gatherings, propaganda, leaflets in the streets etc.

However, the political abstinence reached the new record of about 44%, and they say it is the highest rate in the post-war period of Greece.

So, nobody cares anyway.

The procedure of voting had no difference from the two elections I had already taken part in on May 26 and on June 2.

The only new thing I learned yesterday was that the blank piece of paper given out with the candidates' bulletins can also be used as a voting bulletin, with which voters express their lack of support to any of the parties.

I still don't get the idea - if you don't care, simply don't go to the elections, right? Why waste your time, going to polling station and then put an envelope with a blank paper into the ballot box?

The only idea I have is that elections here at some point in the past had been compulsory, so the voters had no choice, and this blank piece of paper is the repercussion of those olden times.

However, enough with that, I have other things to do.

Such as going to the beach, as the temperature now is especially high, 35C, and will stay as high till Thursday, I guess, when it will "fall" to "just" 30C.

And yeah, I don't get why many Europeans complain about "too hot weather", here in Greece we live with temperatures of 30C and higher for half a year I think and it seems OK, at least for me.

Or why talk about Greece, if the climate of Southern United States or the climate of Australia is even hotter than the climate of Greece, and still there are dozens of millions of white people living there for generations.

So why complain? Do Europeans really differ that much from Americans or Australians? I don't think so.

Hot weather is the best.
