yannisSo, it seems Alexis Tsipras and his party fucked up big time, losing the Euroelections to their main rival, Νέα Δημοκρατία (New Democracy).
While Νέα Δημοκρατία got about 33 percent of votes, Alexis Tsipras managed to get only about 23 percent.
As a result, at midnight it was announced that the National Elections will take place on June 30th, while earlier they were planned for October.
Not a big deal, but I most certainly won't be able to take part in them, due to, let's say so, geographical reasons.
But who holds elections in the middle of summer ffs?
Weren't they able to find a better date?
So, it seems my only hope to influence the local politics is to take part in the second round of elections of the local governor, which will take place on next Sunday.
Meh.
