So, it's been two weeks since the curfew started, so I've been sitting at home for two weeks as of now, and three more weeks to come, since yesterday the curfew was extended till the end of April.

Not a huge surprise, but it's not so pleasant to be right when you are right at something like that.

On the 2nd of April I once again went to supermarkets, and once again at 7AM. This time they didn't open at 7AM exactly; in fact, I had to wait for a good ten minutes till the cashier appeared at the first one. So, I guess, there is no reason to go there this early, it seems the sabotage had already begun. Then I went to the second one, just to buy chocolate, but this time they didn't have even one I bought the previous time, so I had to buy another chocolate once again, and it was visible that they are really running out of chocolate. Which can not be said about toilet paper, by the way, they've got plenty of it everywhere, but it looks like the market is already oversaturated.

Well, anyway, I think I will last till the middle of April with the food I had already hoarded.

Yesterday I freaked out and shaved my head; what's the reason to have hair and to lose time maintaining it if no one you care about will see you till the end of the month. Hair is annoying by itself, and once you had shaved it off, you feel a nice freshness and coolness at your head, which is always good.

The weather is awful as usual - rains, storms and something about 10C, while the Northern part of the country experienced heavy snow yesterday. Yeah, it is April, and in Greece it snows like hell, they said they didn't have so much snow on Chrystmas. Tell me something about global warming now, please.

So, Easter is next Sunday, and as many people will want to go to meet their family, the measures will be harshened, exactly as expected. Fines will be raised, police raids will be intensified etc. Our government really wants to spoil one of the main holidays of the country. Like, fuck you, really, this time there will be no Easter, unless you are willing to pay a few hundreds euro in fines.

Well, when people are actually being arrested and fined for going to church, what else would you expect. And in some islands a real curfew is imposed, which means citizens will have no right to appear in the streets from 8AM till 8PM at all.

Sounds great, yeah, that's what living in this glorious free country, the cradle of democracy, means.

As for economy, a 4% fall of GDP is expected, but I think it's a complete bullshit and the fall will be not less than 10%, but most probably 20% or more. Well, we'll see. During the last three decades the GDP of Greece never fell more than 10% a year (the worst fall happened in 2011), so I think we're all living in quite an interesting time.

As for the other signs of time, yesterday I heard a woman screaming to some dudes chatting near the front doors "Don't stay in the street, go home or else I will call the police". Well, and a few minutes later the police really appeared, riding their motorcycles. I'm not sure if they really came for these dudes, but as I don't see police with motorcycles on my tiny street that often, I assume that she could really have called them. I never would have thought that I will see something like that in Greece. Fucking shit.
