Lol, the guy in the white shorts right in the middle of the photo is me:

LOLOLOL

It's so nice, to go to a website after returning home in the evening, and to see yourself in the first news article you read.

Taken from here, I'm also featured in a video, but unfortunately I couldn't find a way to embed it: https://www.zougla.gr/greece/article/akoma-kapi-epimenoun-paralia-ektakta-metra-apo-tin-astinomia-eklise-to-kavouri

UPD They posted some more pictures, this one is even better:

So yeah, today I went to the beach, obviously, the weather was nice, about 20C and sunny.

As trams don't run between SEF and Batis now, I didn't use metro, instead I went to Kasomouli by trolley №5, and from there by tram to Εδέμ.

The journey took about an hour, not that bad really, considering I first had to wait for 5 minutes for the trolley and then for 10 minutes for the tram, because previous tram left just under my nose, if I was a little bit faster I could catch it, but anyway.

What was it like on the beach, one can see in the photos below lol.

By the way, these guys to my right, three boys and a girl in orange hoodie, were some sort of immigrants, they were speaking language I don't know (probably Turkish, Arab or Farsi), drinking vodka Absolut and smoking. The girl was talking about Nietzsche, and as I didn't understand the language they spoke, at first I thought this was some other word meaning something else, because it didn't sound totally as "Nietzsche", but then she said "Zarathustra" quite clearly, so it was indeed Nietzsche she was talking about. So I assumed that probably they were Iranians, as they spoke about Nietzsche and Zarthustra. And then she started to teach the boys to count in English...

I also remembered Nietzsche yesterday, because of all this hysteria, I thought that his quote "That which is falling should also be pushed" is very relevant today, as only very old people with huge health problems are dying, who are nothing but the burden for the society, and there is nothing for all the others to worry about, and still we have all this shitstorm going on, with total lockdowns, schools and museums closed etc.

Right when I arrived at the beach, even before I could pull my shirt off, a police car appeared and through loudspeakers urged everybody to leave the beach and stay at home. Well, nobody gave a fuck and the police never appeared again, at least until 16:20, when I had to leave because the wind became stronger and it grew colder.

But yeah, the hysteria is going on. With police going through streets, parks, beaches etc and urging everybody to stay at home through loudspeakers.

With special planes sent to other countries to repatriate Greeks staying there (!!!!). They repatriated today Greeks from Georgia, I've read in a news article.

This shit came to such a point, that in some places town councils began removing benches from public spaces, so that people won't be able to sit on them and will stay at home. Like, they really believe this will force people to stay at home. What unbelievable morons, my God.

And after returning home I went to supermarkets.

In fact, it happened so that I haven't been to any supermarket since February, before even I went to Stockholm, so I had no idea what was going on during this month and what is going on right now.

Well, not much, I have to say.

The first supermarket I went to had loads of toilet paper packs piled up right at the entrance lol. Seems it is a very popular product now, but there are obviously no shortages. And yeah, I've seen a woman carrying a pack of toilet paper today.

But I think that if this situation will continue for a few more months, even if I will run out of toilet paper, it will be the least of my concerns. We've all got showers, for fuck's sake.

And I also know what will be done with this hoarded toilet paper if the situation will at last end on a positive note: there will be a huge celebration, and the toilet paper rolls will be used instead of serpentine streamers. Yeah, that's right, and no jokes this time.

But yeah, returning to supermarkets. The entrance is limited now, as I already wrote, so either there is a special employee controlling people, or the cashier nearest to the door just shouts "One more may come in" when the door opens.

And there are also marks on the floor made with duct tape, sometimes a line sometimes a cross, showing where the next customer in the line should stand, because customers now should keep two meters intervals between themselves.

And also cashiers wear gloves and sometimes mask and there is always a bottle of sanitiser on the counter.

And the idiots at MyMarket hand out a number for each customer, which should be returned to the cashier. No fucking idea what for. These motherfuckers still owe me a prize I won a month ago, and nobody has contacted me yet, and I don't want to talk to them because of all this panic and coronavirus bullshit.

But still, it was evening, and there were hardly any customers in the supermarkets, no huge lines at all, no empty shelves either.

I couldn't find my favourite chocolate though, seems it's not only my favourite, and it is now completely sold-out everywhere. I had to buy another one, but this is the only nuisance I faced.

What's interesting, Greeks totally support these measures.

Their economy is heading to hell, tourism is dead etc, but more than half of Greeks support all this bullshit.

And the same goes for France, after a year and a half of yellow jackets protests French people now have a curfew and Macron's ratings are through the roof.

How is all this bullcrap possible.

It's fucking 2020, it's Europe, moreover - it's the EU.

And you can't buy a fucking pair of jeans, because all the stores are closed indefinitely and hell knows when will they be opened.

And you can't buy a ticket for plane or even ferry and go anywhere, despite you are a "free EU citizen", despite "Schengen area", despite everything. You can't even go to countryside, fuck you.

And there is police raiding parks and beaches.

And now I remember Russian "opposition" which have been groaning for years about "oppression", about people being arrested for crossing streets under red light, about banned meetings etc.

How would you like that now, motherfuckers?

Hell, in the end it seems there are not that many differences between Russians and Europeans, all people in fact behave like fucking sheep and only need a strong leader who would ban them from doing anything and would fuck them in the ass till they die.

Humanity is hopeless and doomed.
